A series of visualisations to help children feel better. The CD will be an invaluable tool to help children understand the variety of emotions they have and help change negative emotions to positive ones.

This CD can be used at home or in school and can help children who lack self belief, experience anxiety, and fear.

It is linked to the Every Child Matters Outcomes and can help develop social skills and emotional literacy.

How to use How do you feel today?

1 I feel afraid
Use this track if you feel bullied, have a phobia or are scared of being in a new place. This track is also good if you suffer from panic attacks.
2 I feel angry
Use this track if you have a short temper or need anger management techniques. This track is also good if someone is really getting on your nerves and you feel you need to calm down.
3 I feel sad
Use this track if you feel like crying or are depressed or lonely. This is for the time when you just want to be alone when you feel disappointed or rejected. You may be missing someone or have lost something or someone special.
4 I feel worried
Use this track if you feel worried about school work, exams, falling out with a friend or problems at home. You may also be worried about war and world events and just need some tips on how to get rid of worrying.
5 I feel hurt
Use this track if you feel hurt by what someone has said. You may have been criticised, teased or shouted out. This is also a good track to play if you have been bullied and need some reassurance.
6 I feel unclear
Use this track if you are not sure what do next. Maybe you have some challenging decisions to make and you feel under pressure and unsure. It is also a good track to listen to if you are easily influenced by others and need to learn not to be affected by peer pressure, but stand up for yourself and make your own decisions.
7 I feel ill
Use this track for all health issues from feeling a little under the weather to going into hospital. You can also use it when you are ill and off school or if you have a more serious illness or disease.
8 I feel nervous
Use this track if you have an exam, test or public performance where you have to stand up in front of others to talk/perform. It is also great if you feel anxious and uptight. You could also use this track if you are shy and nervous generally.
